Our philosophy
At Café ANIMO! everything revolves around attention to detail and the joy of enjoyment. The name “ANIMO” is derived from the Italian and means “courage” or “soul”, which is reflected in our philosophy. We want to offer our guests a place where they can find the courage to leave their everyday lives behind, explore new culinary paths and fully indulge in pleasure.
Passionate family business
We have been happy to make our guests happy for several generations. After my father Jan Eiden opened the Manufaktur Café in 2011, I am grateful to continue to run it successfully today. Come by and enjoy a weekly changing menu and individually crafted porcelain tableware, which you can purchase directly from us. We look forward to your visit!

A very charmingly furnished café on the corner of Karlsplatz. There is plenty of shady outdoor seating. The food is of a high quality that you can taste. Very tasty and super friendly service.
Cute little café with friendly staff and clean toilets. We had the small and large vegan breakfast and latte macchiato with soy/oat drink. Everything was very tasty and fresh. In summer you can sit outside with a view of Karlsplatz. 😊👍
